The OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) this week released its annual Education at a Glance report, which chronicles the state of education around the world, from early childhood to university level. The full report is available, and country-specific reports can also be downloaded. The document serves as a reference for governments and policymakers, academics, as well as the general public. Findings this year include increasing enrolments in tertiary education, the value added by quality school principals, and continuing gender imbalances in earnings and within the teaching profession itself.
