Using brain imaging techniques, Dr Charles Limb and his colleagues are investigating how creative endeavours like jazz improvisation engage broad regions of the brain. According to Dr Limb, by studying how the brain handles music and other creative pursuits, we can get a better understanding of how complex tasks are managed. You can listen to the podcast here.
